Being pulled away for your Bachelor’s party when you least expect it.
I’d thought that it would be about a week or two before the wedding, so I hadn’t even started thinking about it. I was completely and totally surprised, and for a minute I hated it … I can’t stand surprise parties, and getting a beer thrown into my hand at 9 AM isn’t exactly what I felt most like at the time.
But I quickly learned to cope, had an amazing day with my terriffic friends, and ended up staying up later than any of the rest of them. Thanks, guys, I couldn’t have asked for a better day.
Looks like the Movable Type people are in business now with TypePad. Looks very nice. It’ll be interesting to see pricing and such.
I’m about half way through Richard Branson’s autobiography Losing My Virginity. I’ve had trouble putting the book down since I picked it up. I’m really enjoying reading again, it’s been a few months where I’ve been too busy to read (or post) anything.
Not news anymore, but still noteworthy. After attending a dinner at Dave Winer’s place, Philip Greenspun started blogging. What I like most about is the subtitle: “an interesting idea every three months; a posting every day”. Pure Philip :)
